Privacy notice
G Wave Records is the mixing and mastering studio of audio engineer Joseph “Gelvs” Agualada, Naga City, Philippines. This notice explains what we collect and why, as the Data Privacy Act of 2012 requires.
What we collect
Your name and email, any phone, WhatsApp or Messenger contact you give us, your project details, and the audio files or links you send.
Why
To reply, prepare your free preview and quote, deliver your project, invoice you, and keep the tax records the law requires. We process these details because you asked us to take steps toward working together, and to carry out that work.
Your audio
We never publish your audio, use it in marketing, or name you as a client without your written permission.
Who handles it
Only Gelvs. The tools that store it: Netlify (website forms), Google Workspace (email and files), and Meta, if you message us on Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp. These services keep data on servers outside the Philippines. We never sell your details.
How long we keep it
Project audio: for as long as your project, and any re-delivery you ask for, needs it — and we delete it whenever you ask. Invoices and payment records: for as long as tax law requires (currently five years).
Website analytics
GoatCounter counts visits without cookies and never stores your IP address. It uses the address only to estimate your country and to avoid counting one visit twice; it is held in memory for at most eight hours and never saved.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or object to how we use them, by writing to gelvs@gwaverecords.site. You can also complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
